§ MR. J. W. CROMBIE (Kincardineshire)I beg to ask the Civil Lord of the Admiralty if he is aware that the movements of H. M. S Jackal, which is at present engaged in sea-police service off the Scotch coast, are frequently announced in advance by the local newspapers, thereby greatly detracting from her efficiency in preventing illegal trawling; and, whether he will take steps to prevent this recurring?
§ MR. EDMUND ROBERTSONThe Admiralty have no information on this point. The Jackal is at the disposal of the Scotch Fishery Board, and her movements are settled by that Board.
