§ THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUERIn the case put, the Commissioners do allow, under Section 20 of the Finance Act, 1894, a sum equal to the amount of the Duty paid, or payable, in the British Possession to which the Section applies, to be deducted from the Estate Duty payable here in respect of the property situate in the British Possession. If more Duty on that property is payable in the British Possession than is payable here, we get nothing; if Less we get the difference.
