HC Deb 01 April 1895 vol 32 cc606-7
MR. H. C. F. LUTTRELL (Devon, Tavistock)

I beg to ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer, whether, in view of the convenience to Members in making arrangements for the Easter Recess, he could give any intimation as to the probable extent of the Recess?

SIR W. HARCOURT

I hope it may be possible for the House to rise on Wednesday, the 10th April, and the Government would then propose that it should meet again on Monday, the 22nd. I must make this statement, however, subject to reserve in case of necessity for future alteration.
