WEIRI beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade if he will state the result of the inquiry by the Inspecting Officer of the Board of Trade into the accident to a night passenger 1174 train on the Highland Railway, near Dunphail Station, on the 27th of April last; and whether all the carriages of the train referred to were fitted with automatic continuous brakes, in accordance with the instructions of the Department to the Highland Railway Company last year?
