§ MR. A. MORLEYThe question of an extension of the telegraphs to Hilltown was considered in 1891. It was then found that it would not be remunerative, and it could not, therefore, be carried out except under a guarantee, which was not forthcoming. I shall be glad to make renewed inquiry on the subject, and I will communicate the result to the hon. Member.
