§ MR. S. BUXTONThe political settlement of Matabeleland is not yet complete. We had hoped to be able to include it in the new Blue Book, but this has not been possible, and the Papers relating to the matter will be laid on the Table at the earliest possible moment. If, however, opportunity serves, I will endeavour to state broadly the proposed terms of the settlement when the Supplementary Estimate is taken on Thursday.
