§ MR. THOMAS HEALY (Wexford, N.)I beg to ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the heads of the Chancery and Probate Divisions of the High Court of Justice in Ireland have been consulted with reference to the provisions of Clause 13 of the Finance Bill; and, if so, what opinion they have expressed on the subject?
§ SIR W. HARCOURTNo official communications have passed on the subject. The Amendment proposed to Clause 13, which limits personal applications to Inland Revenue Officers to estates of £500 gross, will greatly modify the effect of the Bill, as far as it concerns the officials of the Probate Division of the High Court hi Ireland.
