HC Deb 18 June 1894 vol 25 c1345
MR. WEBB (Waterford, W.)

On behalf of the hon. Member for East Waterford, I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland what action the Local Government Board have decided to take with regard to the case of Mr. Sheehan, Ballyhussa, as to the mistake made respecting the land taken from him for a labourer's cottage in the Kilmacthomas Union; and will the Local Government Board Inspector be directed to inquire into the matter, with the view of substituting Mr. Sheehan's name in the lease for that of the former owner?

MR. J. MORLEY

The matter to which this question refers would appear to be one for the Land Commission, not the Local Government Board, and I shall bring the papers under the notice of the former Department.
