§ *THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR WAR (Mr. CAMPBELL-BANNERMAN,&c.) Stirling,The conditions for the grant of the Volunteer Long Service Medal are laid down in the Special Army Order of the 26th of May. They necessarily differ in certain respects from those applicable to the officers' decoration.
