HC Deb 05 June 1894 vol 25 c429
MR. KNATCHBULL-HUGESSEN (Kent, Faversham)

Can the President of the Board of Agriculture say if there is any truth in the report of a fresh outbreak of pleuro-pneumonia at Sevington, near Ashford, Kent?

MR. H. GARDNER

I have no information of a further outbreak of pleuropneumonia at Sevington. I fancy that the report has been circulated in consequence of the slaughter there of some animals that had been in contact with those in which the disease was discovered some time ago.
