HC Deb 04 June 1894 vol 25 c311
SIR H. FLETCHER (Sussex, Lewes)

In the absence of the hon. Member for the Stretford Division of South-East Lancashire, I beg to ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will consent to the adjournment of the House on Tuesday night until Thursday, to give a little rest to the Members and officials of the House who have been so constant in their attendance?

SIR W. HARCOURT

No, Sir; I fear that the House has no superfluity of time which it can divert from public business to the purpose indicated in the question.
