§ THE PRESIDENT OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOARD (Mr. SHAW-LEFEVRE,) Bradford, CentralThe total number of pauper children in this country on the 1st of January last was 249,000, of whom 60,800 were receiving indoor relief. The number whose emigration was authorised by the Local Government Board during the year 1893 was 360. The number boarded out on the 1st of January last was 5,465.
