HC Deb 27 July 1894 vol 27 c1143
MR. T. M. HEALY (Louth, N)

I beg to ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer on what date the Inland Revenue arrived at the conclusion not to exercise their statutable discretion to allow limited companies to compound for Stamp Duty; was any Minute drawn up; and could the case of any companies who applied prior to this Minute be reconsidered on the basis of prior procedure?

THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER (Sir W. HARCOURT,) Derby

I am inquiring into this matter.
