DILKEI beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether Her Majesty's Government have been kept informed by the Government of the Congo State with regard to the nature of the correspondence between the latter Government and that of the French Republic as to the recent Convention between Her Majesty's Government and the Sovereign of the Congo State?
§ SIR E. GREYI must ask the hon. Baronet to apply to this question the answer which I gave to another question on Monday—namely, that I am not at present in a position to make any statement with reference to communications with the French Government respecting the Convention.
