§ SIR E. § SIR W. HARCOURTAs to the first part of this question, I have no information; and as to the second, I must refer the hon. Gentleman to the Attorney General.
§ SIR E. ASHMEAD-BARTLETTI do not know whether the right hon. Gentleman is aware that I have asked the second question of the Attorney 180 General on more than one occasion before without being answered, and therefore I must, with all respect to the Chancellor of the Exchequer, press him to state whether it is or is not the intention of the Government to institute proceedings against those who are responsible for these great frauds?
§ SIR W. HARCOURTI am afraid the hon. Gentleman will not extract from me information I do not possess.
