MR. GIBSON BOWLESI beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board whether Mr. C. N. Dalton, one of the Assistant Secretaries to the Local Government Board, is also editor of The Local Government Chronicle; and, if so, whether that newspaper is an official publication or a private commercial enterprise?

I have no definite knowledge as to how far Mr. Dalton may have been connected with the editorial management of the publication referred to, but no official Rule has been, so far as I am aware, infringed by him in the matter.
