HC Deb 12 January 1894 vol 20 c1443
MR. SEXTON

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland for what reason an application for a cottage and plot of land for Thomas Connor, of Coolaclaiy, Listowel Union, has been rejected by the Local Government Board?

MR. J. MORLEY

It appears that some confusion has arisen in reference to the case alluded to in the question owing to the numbers of this and another site in the same Electoral Division of the Union having been accidentally transposed in the Guardians' scheme, and the Local Government Board are at present in communication with the Guardians on the subject. The cottage proposed to be built for the man named in the question is, however, that which has been authorised by Provisional Order, the other case referred to having been rejected.
