RANKINI beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for the Colonies whether a correspondence has taken place between the Governor of Malta and the Secretary of State for the Colonies respecting the Marriage Legacy question in Malta; and, if so, whether the correspondence can be presented to Parliament?
§ MR. S. BUXTONThe answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. As regards the second question, the correspondence is not yet concluded, but when it is we shall consider whether it would be desirable to present any Papers to Parliament.
