HC Deb 11 January 1894 vol 20 c1428
MR. MARJORIBANKS (Berwickshire)

It may be for the convenience of the House that I should state that tomorrow at the commencement of Public Business my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister will move the suspension of the Twelve o'Clock Rule, and also— That this House, after the passing of the Local Government Bill, do adjourn to Monday, 12th February. That does not imply, however, that if the House desires to sit on Saturday or Monday or Tuesday of next week, there will be any objection on the part of the Government to its doing so.

Motion made, and Question proposed, "That this House do now adjourn."—(Mr. Marjoribanks.)

MR. GOSCHEN

I believe there is a general desire that the Debate should come to a conclusion to-morrow evening, and there will be no wish to offer the slightest obstruction.

Question put, and agreed to.

House adjourned accordingly at two minutes after Twelve o'clock.
