HC Deb 02 January 1894 vol 20 c656
MR. BUCHANAN (Aberdeenshire, E.)

I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether he will arrange to take the Lords' Amendments to the Sea Fisheries (Scotland) Bill on an early day during the present Sittings?

MR. W. E. GLADSTONE

Our intention is to ask the House to devote a day in part to the Lords' Amendments to the Scotch Sea Fisheries Bill and in part to the Featherstone question. That day will be as early as we can make it, and if it should happen that a Parliamentary day will elapse between the Committee and the Report of the Local Government Bill we should propose to ask the House to appoint that day.

MR. BUCHANAN

Will the Government put the Sea Fisheries Bill down for the first place on that day?

MR. W. E. GLADSTONE

I must consult the Secretary to the Treasury on that subjest.
