FOWLERThe number of the parishes and parts of parishes in rural sanitary districts which will be affected by the Local Government Bill is 13,235."Of these, 8,862 have a population of less than 500, and 4,423 of less than 200. I am unable to give the precise number of parishes with a less population than 100. These figures are taken from a Return dated July 7 last (No. 315), which was moved for by my hon. Friend the Member for East Somerset.
