HC Deb 21 September 1893 vol 17 c1780
MR. A. C. MORTON (Peterborough)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether his attention has been called to the disturbed condition of Egham, in the County of Surrey, through the action of a body known as the Skeleton Army; and whether steps will be taken to afford adequate protection to residents in the district?

(who replied) said: The matter is one for the Local Police Authorities, and the Chief Constable states that he has sent additional constables to Egham, and will continue to take all necessary steps.
