The number of loans sanctioned was 2,486, amounting to £880,141. The number of loans issued was 1,648, amounting to £577,359. The amount of Guaranteed Land Stock taken by the Bank of Ireland in exchange for Consols down to August 31 was £202,734 19s. 9d.
