§ MR. W. WHITELAW (Perth)I beg to ask whether the Government has received any further information with regard to the sinking of a yacht in the Tay?
§ MR. CAMPBELL-BANNERMANI have received a Report from the General Officer commanding in Scotland, who has carefully inquired into the matter. He states that the yacht sank close to the Lady buoy, at right angles to the line of fire, so that it is impossible that it could have been struck by a shot from any gun.
§ MR. W. WHITELAWI have further information which I will communicate to the right hon. Gentleman.
