HC Deb 12 September 1893 vol 17 c947
MR. GIBSON BOWLES (Lynn Regis)

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Admiralty whether he is now able to state when the Minutes of the Victoria Court Martial will be laid upon the Table of this House; and whether there is any prospect of these Minutes being in the hands of Members before the discussion on the Navy Estimates is resumed?

SIR U. KAY-SHUTTLEWORTH

We have at last received proofs of the printed evidence from the printers. But the proofs of the lithographed plates will not be ready for some days. Without these the evidence would be incomplete, and there would be no advantage in presenting it. Under these circumstances, I fear that the Blue Book cannot be distributed to Members before the Adjournment of the House for the Recess.
