GIBSON BOWLES (Lynn Regis)I beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade whether he can state 1707 what Orders in Council relating to the Regulations for preventing collisions at sea have been issued this year, and on what dates; and whether he proposes to issue any further Orders in Council relating to these Regulations; if so, when?
§ MR. MUNDELLAThe only Order in Council relating to the General Regulations for preventing collisions at sea that has been issued this year is that dated the 30th January last. An Order applying to dredgers in the Mersey was issued on 26th August. It is not proposed to submit any further Orders for Her Majesty's approval until after the Rules have been finally considered and reported upon by the Rule of the Road Committee.
