HC Deb 30 November 1893 vol 19 c105
COLONEL NOLAN

I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury if the Government would, early next Session, introduce a small equalising Bill, which would enable the Irish labourer and others to obtain those facilities for holding small plots of ground which are at present, or will be at the close of the Session, enjoyed by the same classes in England, through the various Allotment Acts and Allotment Clauses?

THE FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURY (Mr. W. E. GLADSTONE, Edinburgh, Midlothian)

This question would be more properly answered by my right hon. Friend the Chief Secretary for Ireland, who, indeed, wishes to reply to it; and, therefore, I must ask the hon. and gallant Gentleman to defer it till Monday, when my right hon. Friend will be in his place.
