HC Deb 21 November 1893 vol 18 c1370
MR. CORNWALLIS (Maidstone)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether he proposes to extend to the non-commissioned officers serving in the Yeomanry a system of long service decorations similar to those given to noncommissioned officers serving in the Volunteer Forces?

THE FINANCIAL SECRETARY TO THE WAR OFFICE (Mr. WOODALL,) Hanley

The Secretary of State is of opinion that, as the officers of Yeomanry Cavalry have not been included in the distribution of the decoration, there does not appear to be any sufficient ground for conferring it on the non-commissioned officers of the Force.
