HC Deb 29 May 1893 vol 12 cc1522-3

Order for Second Reading read.

Motion made, and Question proposed, "That the Bill be now read a second time."

SIR JOHN LUBBOCK (London University)

said, he hoped the Bill would be allowed to proceed. It had the approval of the Trades Unionists, and was approved by all sections in the City of London, and it would be a great hardship to delay it.

MR. GIBSON BOWLES

objected.

Second Reading deferred till Friday.
