LABOUCHERE (Northampton)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether a Petition has been received from the inhabitants of Alderney, reciting various abuses that, as they allege, have arisen from the defects of their Constitution, praying Her Majesty to cause inquiry to be made into these alleged abuses with a view to remedy them, should they be proved to exist; and whether it is intended to take any action in the matter?
