CHARLES DARLING (Deptford)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he has been informed that a fire was discovered at Hull in the early hours of Thursday, on the premises of the Shipwright and Boat Building Company; whether there is reason to believe that such fire was purposely caused; and whether any arrests have been made in consequence of the several incendiary fires which have occurred in Hull during the continuance of the dock strike?

So far as I am aware, no arrests have been made; but I have no reason to think that there has been any lack of vigilance or energy on the part of the Local Authorities.
