§ MR. C. FENWICK (Northumberland, Wansbeck), who was in charge of the Bill, appealed to the hon. Member to withdraw his objection, as the Bill was sanctioned by hon. Members on both sides of the House, and had been prepared under the arrangements of the President of the Board of Trade in the late Government.
§ SIR MICHAEL HICKS-BEACHI feel bound to corroborate what the hon. Member has said. This is a small Bill, but it is a useful Bill, and is very much desired.
§ MR. TOMLINSONsaid he desired, under the circumstances, to withdraw his Motion.
