WHITMORE (Chelsea)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will take steps to give effect to the recommendations contained in the Report of the Departmental Committee on Metropolitan Police Courts, and, in particular, to its recommendation that two additional Magistrates should be appointed at once; and whether he will direct that this Report shall be presented to the House of Commons?
