WEIRI beg to ask the Secretary for Scotland, in consequence of his having stated that the Lord Chancellors have not considered non-residence as a reason for removing a Justice from the Bench, and that exemption would not be made in a special case, whether steps will be taken to remove from the roll the 33 Justices of the Peace for Ross and Cromarty who reside in other parts of Scotland, India, the Continent of Europe, and England?
