HC Deb 13 March 1893 vol 9 c1847
MR. LYELL (Orkney and Shetland)

I beg to ask the Secretary for Scotland whether he is aware that the Crofter Commissioners have not yet visited South Ronoldshay, in Orkney; and will he arrange that the large number of applications for a fair rent by crofters in this island shall be heard at the earliest opportunity?

SIR G. TREVELYAN

The Commission, as I am aware, has not yet visited South Ronaldshay. The Chairman reports that he hopes to be able to do so before the end of June.
