HC Deb 13 March 1893 vol 9 c1838
COMMANDER BETHELL (York, E.R., Holderness)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether there is now adequate reserve of Cordite ammunition for the Army; and, if not, if he proposes taking any steps to increase it?

THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR WAR (Mr. CAMPBELL-BANNERMAN,) Stirling, &c.

The present stock of Cordite ammunition, together with the supply estimated for in 1893–4, is expected amply to meet all probable requirements.
