HC Deb 11 March 1893 vol 9 cc1712-3
CAPTAIN BAGOT

I beg to ask the Secretary for War whether, having regard to the hardship that has arisen in some cases, troop sergeant majors of Yeomanry who have qualified for pension by being compelled, under the new Regulations, to give up their appointments at short notice, he will recommend commanding officers of Yeomaury to give such sergeant majors at least three months' notice before they are retired, in order that they may have an opportunity of obtaining civil employment?

MR. CAMPBELL-BANNERMAN

I must ask that this question be postponed.
