I beg to ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer when he expects to have a sufficient quantity of silver coin to supply the wants of the West India Colonies, in some of which it is urgently needed?

I have not had long to consider my answer to this question, but I have done my best. I have got an answer through the telephone. This is it— The colonial banks act as agents for the distribution of coin, and they have been supplied with the whole amount for which they have applied.
