CARSON (Dublin University)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland how many claims for compensation for malicious injuries to property were made to the Grand Jury of the County of Clare at the recent Spring Assizes for the same county; and how many of such claims were acceded to?
MR. J. MORLEYThe Constabulary Authorities inform me that 28 such claims were made at the recent Clare Assizes, all of which were acceded to. At the Spring Assizes of 1892 38 claims were made and 37 were allowed.
