HC Deb 29 June 1893 vol 14 cc349-50
MR. MAUEICE HEALY

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether, in the case of a town in Ireland governed by Towns Commissioners, but not being an urban sanitary district, Part III. of "The Housing of the Working Classes Act, 1890," can be adopted by the Rural Sanitary Authority, or whether it must be adopted, if at all, by the Towns Commissioners; and whether it can be adopted by both concurrently in respect of the town?

SIR J. T. HIBBERT

The Act of 1890 gives no power to adopt Part III. in rural sanitary districts in Ireland.
