W.LAWSON (Gloucester, Cirencester)I beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that the clauses in the Loudon County Council, (General Powers) Bill, giving to that body a certain number of representatives on the Thames Conservancy Board, have been struck out by the Select Committee of the House of Lords; and whether he will agree to the appointment of a Select Committee of this House at an early date to inquire into the constitution, powers, and composition of the Board of Conservators, as promised during the last Parliament?
