I beg to ask the Secretary for Scotland whether, pending the consideration, by the Scotch Education Department, of an Evening School Code for Scotland, he will take steps to secure for evening schools in Scotland, during next winter, the benefit of the change referred to in Section II. (a) of the Explanatory Memorandum of the Minute of the 18th May, 1893, which establishes a Code of Regulations for evening schools in England and Wales?
