HC Deb 12 June 1893 vol 13 c773
MR. KNATCHBULL-HUGESSEN (Kent, Faversham)

I beg to ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he has had under his consideration the Report of a Committee of the House of Commons, presented last year, upon the subject of the Greenwich Age Pensions; and, if so, whether he has arrived at any decision in reference thereto?

THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER (Sir W. HARCOURT,) Derby

Part of the recommendations of the Committee have already been acted upon, but in the present state of the finances it is impossible to make any further provision.
