§ MR. DANEI beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury what were the terms of the communication made by the Treasury to Sir Thomas Brady relative to his pension upon deprivation of office; and what reply, if any, has been received from him?

HIBBERTSuch communications are confidential, and I can say no more than that it is the intention of the Treasury to ask Parliament to vote a substantial sum in addition to the full pension for which the Superannuation Acts provide, in consideration of the services rendered by Sir Thomas Brady.
