HOLLAND (Salford, N.)I beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board whether his attention has been called to a meeting held in Salford on tin 25th instant to protest against the polluted condition of the water in the Ship Canal Docks; and, if so, whether the Local Government Board will do what they can to expedite the works for the purification of the River Irwell?
