SHAW LEFEVREAbout three weeks ago there was a strike of most of the workmen at the new South-Western District Post Office, owing to some dispute between them and the contractors, as to which I have no knowledge. I am informed that the works are now again in fair progress, and that no serious inconvenience is likely to arise from the delay.
