I rise to ask the House to accept the Motion that stands in my name— That a Select Committee be appointed to consider the financial relations of England, Scotland, and Ireland to the Imperial Exchequer. In support of this Motion I may refer to the discussions that take place annually in this House upon the Estimates, and also at other times, when not only Members from one part of the country, but Members from different parts of the country—
