HC Deb 11 July 1893 vol 14 c1368

Order for Second Reading read.

MR. J. H. WILSON (Middlesbrough)

moved the Second Reading of this Bill.

Objection being taken,

MR. J. H. WILSON

hoped the objection would be withdrawn. In all probability many of the hon. Gentlemen on the opposite side of the House would be going to Chicago this year to the Exhibition, and it was in their own interest that the Bill should be allowed to pass.

MR. FORWOOD (Lancashire, Ormskirk)

considered this was a Bill which ought not to be brought in at that hour of the night.

Second Reading deferred till Tomorrow.
