HC Deb 10 July 1893 vol 14 c1136
MR. A. CHAMBERLAIN (Worcestershire, E.)

I beg to ask the Postmaster General whether his attention has been called to the fact that there is no telegraph office in the large and rapidly-growing district of Sparkhill; and whether he will cause one to be provided without delay?

MR. A. MORLEY

The telegraph is now being extended to Sparkhill, and no time will be lost in opening the office to the public when the work is completed. I would suggest to my hon. Friend that the time of the House would be saved if such purely local matters were made the subject of a letter instead of a question.
