HOWARD (Middlesex, Tottenham)I beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board whether he has received a letter on behalf of the West Green Ratepayers' Association, complaining of a serious deficiency in the water supply of that populous part of the district of Tottenham, and praying for an inquiry; and whether he is prepared to direct a full inquiry to be made as to this important matter?
§ MR. H. H. FOWLERI have received a communication signed by a number of ratepayers in the district of West Green complaining of the supply of water furnished by the Tottenham Local Board. I have communicated with the Local Board as to this complaint, and on receiving their reply will determine whether a local inquiry should be held in the matter.
